Pool parties are so fun for summer, especially when there are squirt guns & beach balls in the mix! Since Lyney's son is smitten with swimming  – she appropriately threw him a super creative Splish Splash Pool Party for his 11th Birthday! 

I love this theme and even did my own version when my kids were little. Even if you don't have a pool in your backyard, a swimmingly good time is guaranteed when water's involved. So set up some sprinklers, blow up a baby pool or head to a community pool.

Party highlights to take note of:

• Themed candy bar complete with "pool noodles" (aka sour straws)
• Squirt gun party favors.
• Ocean blue Jell-o with duck toys on top (so cute!).
• Ice cream cones filled with cake and frosting and finished with a printed cupcake topper.
